Two names for you: Chad DeGroot and BACO. Does this bring back any memories? Well it should! And if it doesn´t you don´t know your BMX History.

Chad has been responsible (together with Chris Rye) for some of the most impressive vids (editing wise as well as riding wise) in our BMX World. The Baco Vids are legend and will give you all the viewing pleasure you can hope for.

Now Chad started his own company called DECO a few months back and has come up with the first vids. Since Chad is an old friend of SOULBMX Video Magazine he decided to put some of his stuff up on soulbmx.tv !

Good Morning everybody! We´ve been working quite a bit on the site lately and thereby probably forgotten about to tell you how some things work. We had various mails come in about how to embedd our Vids in Blogs, websites, etc. Thats why we thought we should do a small How-To here on our Blog:

Firstly, we thank everyone of you guys out there who want to embedd our Vids. Please do so and continue doing so!

Now let´s get started:

1. Start playing one of our Vids.
2. Once it is running do a “mouseover” on the playing vid and the commandbuttons will show up.
3. On the bottom righthand-side symbols will show up. The first symbol is for fullscreen-mode, the second to show the embedd-code and the third for slow-motion.
4. If you click the middle symbol the embedd-code will show up on the screen.
5. Now simply copy the code and add it to your website, blog, what ever.

And another tipp: Watch out, that there are no linebreaks in the code. Some browsers, editors whatever fuck up the code and the player-size comes out wrong.

We just wanted to bring your attention to the following event which soulbmx.tv is proud be sponsor:

The guys of the fus-crew have put togehter a sport programe to promote BMX and Dirtbike and get the young citizens away from the playstations and the internet. If you are a beginner or want to get into BMX or MTB Dirt riding and are between 14-24 years of age then you can come to the Ride like a Pro active Workshop here at the Skatepark Lohhof in Unterschleissheim (Munich). There will be numerous Pros of the local scene (such as Perry Petermüller, Rafael Adam or Thomas Stellwag) there to show you how to pull those lookdowns, tailwhips and tabletops.

But not only riding is in the focus of the two days of the workshop. You will also learn how to build your own ramps, put together a good dirt line or even maintain your bike. As a finishing point a BBQ will be set up (bring your onw food, please) and a foto session will take place to capture you first hand. To cover the costs the guys are asking for a mere 30 EUR fee for the two days.

If you live in and around Munich and want to take part in this great programme then jot down the following dates. The Workshops will take place on three different weekends, so everybody gets the chance to join in:

Yo Everybody!

Some of you may have wondered why you only got a more or less blank screen for the last 24h when you tapped soulbmx.tv into your browser bar. Well, things happen and this time it hit us: Some very sick person hacked into our server and decided to host his pedophile shit from us.Suddenly we had users sending us messages and the old bill knocking at our door and next minute our Server was shut down. Damn! How sick can some persons be? I don´t want to begin with what they should do to these pedophile worthless pieces of sh***! Well the coppers are on the case and soulbmx.tv is back up after two long, long night behind the PC. (Man, we could have been working on some new stuff for you guys!)

Just to answer any questions or worries of you guys: We did not host that kind of stuff and don´t, in any way, think this is funny. Also: The person only accessed our server to host his crap and none of the content or user data on our server was accessed (we have means to check this). So you don´t have to worry, that any of your data was seen, accessed or touched in any way!

Nonetheless, if you should have any doubts please contact us via the “feedback” and send us any questions you have. We will be pleased to answer them.

I hope they catch this sick person(s)! Or in Johnny Cash´s words: FUCK OFF!

An awesome Clip from Kink Bike Co. just popped through our virtual letterbox. This trip to Arizona and California features Jason Owens, Jason Rowe, Shaun Sexton, Tom Dillon, Tony Hamlin, Darryl Tocco and Aaron Smith doing crazy things.

Along the way they hit amazing spots including a massive concrete park, Trails, a warehouse a ditch and some streeeet.

Also, the editing and filming by Darryl Tocco is well worth mentioning. Keep the good stuff up!
