Good Morning everybody! We´ve been working quite a bit on the site lately and thereby probably forgotten about to tell you how some things work. We had various mails come in about how to embedd our Vids in Blogs, websites, etc. Thats why we thought we should do a small How-To here on our Blog:

Firstly, we thank everyone of you guys out there who want to embedd our Vids. Please do so and continue doing so!

Now let´s get started:

1. Start playing one of our Vids.
2. Once it is running do a “mouseover” on the playing vid and the commandbuttons will show up.
3. On the bottom righthand-side symbols will show up. The first symbol is for fullscreen-mode, the second to show the embedd-code and the third for slow-motion.
4. If you click the middle symbol the embedd-code will show up on the screen.
5. Now simply copy the code and add it to your website, blog, what ever.

And another tipp: Watch out, that there are no linebreaks in the code. Some browsers, editors whatever fuck up the code and the player-size comes out wrong.

In order to demonstrate some of the features www.soulbmx.tv offers you, we thought we´ll do a small write up / guide to existing featrues as well as features to come and show you what you can get out of this shizzle.

We will start with one of the main, if not THE main feature of soulbmx.tv: THE HOMEBASE

One of the main ideas of soulbmx.tv is to combine the vids you see with the spots they are filmed at and show you the people involved (riders, editors and filmers). Every rider wants to know, where these guys (or girls) are from and what there home turf looks like as well as who they ride with (their locals). All these aspects are based on the homebase.

So why should you setup your own homebase?

Well basically, to connect with your local scene. This means the people, spots and soon the events that are going on.

Once you have set up your homebase you will:

-  see all locals registered @soulbmx.tv

- see videos which feature your homebase

- see nearby spots

So how can you set up your HOMEBASE?

1. Set up your account (done in 1 minute) via the “Register”-Button and confirm the Mail you get.

2. Login and go to “Community”

3. Click on “set up Homebase”

4. Type in your Hometown and Country and press “Go”!

5. Check the map, if your home spot is already set up @soulbmx.tv

5. If it is: Click on the spot-pinhead and it will be set up as your homebase

6. If it is not set up yet simply click “add new spot” and follow the instructions

After this short procedure you will see soulbmx.tv in a different light!

If you tried to post spots you may have noticed that you cannot find the link to do so. We had to remove it since we noticed a bigger bug regarding the spot upload.  The bug is connected to the major update we did this week. But no worries! The spot upload will be up and running by Monday. So pen down the spots you wanted to add and add them at the beginning of the week!

Simply click on the tool you are using (e.g. facebook, mr. wong, etc.) and post the direct link!
