Yo. Spreading the soulbmx vibe further and further - we have become official media partner of the Eastpak BMX Series. Don´t know what I am talking about, then check this out:

“This year the BMX Series by Eastpak will have three stages, all count to the national ranking. The classes will be the same: Pro, Amateurs and Beginners. In the Beginners, can only enter riders up to 16 years.

The contest will run in jam format, six minutes for which three riders who will switching between them. Each stage has a prize money of 300€ for the first three classified in Pro. The other two classes will receive material from the brands that sponsor and support the contest.

We are sure that this year all classes will have a new first classified. Necessarily, the last year first three classifieds of Amateurs and Beginners will go up class. The national champion of pro, Daniel Américo suffered an injury and at least for now is unable to participate.

Caldas da Rainha skatepark suffered last year a big remodeling. At this moment is one of the best concrete parks that we can find in Portugal. Is a large park, has a pool with spine, fun box, quarter with a sub box, curbs, among other ramps, and an area most dedicated to street. This will be the first time that the new skatepark will receive a BMX Freestyle contest.

Caldas da Rainha will receive the 1st stage, São João da Madeira the 2nd. The final of the BMX Series by Eastpak, will be one more time in the Festival Bike in Santarém.

The BMX Series by Eastpak is sponsored by Eastpak, has the support from Redbull, Osiris, Odyssey, Fitbikeco., Mutantbikes, Academia dos Patins, C.M. Caldas da Rainha, C. M. São João da Madeira, CNEMA and Apametal. The media partners are: Freecaster, Zona Radical, Vespa Produções, SoulBMX and photobmxmag. Organization is from mfobmx.”

Excited about this years Worlds? Well you should be. We just got a glimpse at this years street course. Camp Ramps are in charge once again and by the looks of the course design, they are going to do a good job the fith time running. The course is designed on 3 different hight levels and connects itself via Wallrides, Channels and room for transfers. As they put it: “The innovative arrangement of the ramps enables the riders to find a huge pool of different lines and big tricks.” If you want to take a glimpse of the course click the pick or go directly to camp ramps.

By judging the riders list it will be put to good use and we are looking forward to the action. So, once again: Make sure to put a big red mark in your events calender on the 10th - 12th of July for this years BMX Worlds in Cologne (Jugendpark)

Remember this one (if i am allowed to call the bmx masters the inofficial worlds!)  as Matt Hofmann made it over in 2006, Mark Webb took over the Miniramp and Chris Doyle transferred half of the street course — good one!:
