Excited about this years Worlds? Well you should be. We just got a glimpse at this years street course. Camp Ramps are in charge once again and by the looks of the course design, they are going to do a good job the fith time running. The course is designed on 3 different hight levels and connects itself via Wallrides, Channels and room for transfers. As they put it: “The innovative arrangement of the ramps enables the riders to find a huge pool of different lines and big tricks.” If you want to take a glimpse of the course click the pick or go directly to camp ramps.
By judging the riders list it will be put to good use and we are looking forward to the action. So, once again: Make sure to put a big red mark in your events calender on the 10th - 12th of July for this years BMX Worlds in Cologne (Jugendpark)
Remember this one (if i am allowed to call the bmx masters the inofficial worlds!) as Matt Hofmann made it over in 2006, Mark Webb took over the Miniramp and Chris Doyle transferred half of the street course — good one!:

Have a nice day!

Check out our new clip from the Vans “Let It Ride” Bowl Contest that went down in Kortrijk/Belgium last weekend.
The bowl was build by Team Pain and is a treat.
21 riders took advantage of what this piece of art has to offer and in the end it was the UK’s Ben Hennon who took the win with some massive airs and a life-threatening transfer.

Yo Yo Yo! As promised we just put up the Austrian KOD webclip, edited by Bartl Barnabas, from this weekend. Backflips, Frontflips, Flipvariations as well as Back-to-Back 360ies, loads of whips and lookdowns and superman were on the menue. As this was a split event for MTB and BMX, watching this will also show how the two are gradually moving towards each other (trick wise) - but, as you also will see, it looks far more stylisher on a BMX ;-))) [only stirring it up here, no offense!]
No, seriously, it was a really good Event with Thorsten Pullich and Froanz Haebig on the Mike and the sun was out. Everybody had fun and the King was crowned: Dusan Antalik´s bag of tricks was good enough to get past Josa Daniel (2nd) and Markus Hampl (3rd) and grab this years Crown for the King of Dirt in Linz.
The next leg of the Event is in Innsbruck on the 21st and 22nd August in Innsbruck/ AT. Stay tuned for this and now check out Bartls nice webclip of the event!
Have a good week!

This weekend, 5th an 6th June the first leg of the Austrian King of Dirt (sponsored by adidas eyewear) will take place in Linz / AT. The second leg will then take place on 21st and 22nd August in Innsbruck/ AT. Scanning through the riders list gives me the feeling that it will be quite an Event. Names such as Volker Wildner, Moritz Paul, Alex Dropsy, Craig Stevens and about 40 riders more promise good lines!
Here is what they put up on their Homepage:
“For the 9th time in a row the Austrian King of Dirt will be held - and this year we’ve got even two stops! On the 5th an 6th June in Linz/Austria and on the 21st and 22nd August in Innsbruck/Austria. In both cities there is an already existing dirtpark with lots of jumps, where the stars of the dirt jumping scene can present all their skills.
Because the audience is growing each year we especially take care of a comfortable ambience for the viewers and the riders, so that this event remains unforgetable! The new concept of the series also features a special price money for the winner of the series, who will be honored at the second stop in Innsbruck. Of course we offer an international field of riders and some nice side-events - all that at free entry! The winner of the event will be celebrated at the particular after-party location with some bands and DJs. The Austrian King of Dirt will be an unforgettable event for all of us!”
Sounds good to me! If you want to catch the action make your way over to Austria - or stay tuned here on soulbmx.tv!
Have a good one!
